On a perfect sunny Saturday, I decide to take my Canon DSLR out for a spin at the Toronto Botanical Garden. I’ve got my 85mm f1.8 lens for over a month now and this is the first opportunity that I got to use it for its potential.
By the time I got to the garden, it was around 4:00PM. To my surprise, there were at least 5 other weddings happening when I got there. I was able to spot out some of the professional gear that these wedding photographer had. Each of them had an assistant to carry their gears for them. There was this one assistant that was holding a tripod with a flash all day long.
The Toronto Botanical Garden is a hidden gem located on the east side of the city. I’ve been in Toronto for over 10 years and I have never been to this place once. That’s because it’s well hidden within the city. Here’s a map of the garden:
