The streets of Toronto was filled with zombies today. The Toronto Zombie Walk was massive this year. The meet up took place at Trinity Bellwoods Park 3,000 zombies screaming for human brains.

A brief description of a Zombie Walk from Wikipedia:

A zombie walk (also known as a zombie mob, zombie march, zombie horde, zombie lurch, zombie shamble, zombie shuffle or zombie pub crawl) is an organized public gathering of people who dress up in zombie costumes. Usually taking place in an urban centre, the participants make their way around the city streets in a somewhat orderly fashion and often limping their way towards a public space.

A small stage was set up at the park to help transform humans into zombies. Professional make up artists were on the spot to put the zombie touch on people that were interested.

This was an awesome opportunity to take pictures. I managed to take pictures from several different locations. First, I shot at the Trinity Bellwoods Park during the gathering. At this point, many of the zombies were making their way in. When the march began, I took position by Dundas and Bellwoods. The police blocked off the street going eastward all the way to Kensington. I was able to shortcut my way through to Kensington and took more pictures at Kensington Market. The walk ended at Bathurst and Bloor. Some zombies took refuge to the rave music coming from the outside of Wreck Room. Some went to the Bloor Cinema. And many other zombies were scattered all over the restaurants in the Annex savaging on human brains.
